Resources
Membership
L.A. County is a complex place to do business. We can help.
Join HALA and we'll guide you through it all—giving you access to the relationships, tools, and training you need to be successful.
Advocacy
Our most important work: advocacy and government affairs.
We work with elected leaders, municipal officials, and the community to ensure L.A. County remains a great place to visit and our hotels remain great places to work. We move strategically—through communications, lobbying, coalition building, and community education—to fight off harmful legislative proposals before they become law, and to correct existing laws.
Helping Our Neighbors
Homelessness is a persistent challenge in Southern California.
So, L.A. hotels are working with local governments to find real, long-term solutions to homelessness—not temporary fixes.
People First
The safety of our employees and guests comes first.
That’s why HALA is leading the way on industry safety standards, resources, and training. A well-trained staff means a secure, welcoming environment for everyone.
