Wanted: Our Next President & CEO

Job applicants waiting for an interview.

And now a word from our exiting President and CEO, Heather Rozman, who will be with us through the end of March:

This decision to step down from my position as President and CEO has not been easy. Leading this incredible organization for the past five and a half years has been a privilege. Together, we’ve overcome tough challenges, from navigating the pandemic to defeating harmful legislative proposals. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished.

I’ve been especially inspired by the gritty resilience of our hoteliers—their unwavering commitment to their businesses, their people, and their community. I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to have played a role in fostering such a dynamic and impactful group.

It’s my personal rule to always leave things better than I found them, and I’m pleased to say I’m leaving HALA in a strong position. Over the past few years, we’ve solidified HALA’s position as one of the foremost business groups in Southern California. And we’ve ushered in a new brand and a new vision for the organization—one that reaffirms HALA’s strength, vibrance, and sustainability. I’m committed to ensuring a smooth transition.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your President and CEO. I’m so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me, and for the chance to work alongside such a remarkable group of individuals. The future of our industry is bright, and I know you‘re going to build upon our successes and reach even greater heights.

With deepest gratitude,

Heather Rozman

Heather has served our organization with integrity and grit since 2018, and she’ll be sorely missed.

But with loss comes opportunity. We’re currently fielding candidates to serve as our new President and CEO.

Do you have what it takes to thrive in this high-pressure, multifaceted role? Or do you know someone who might? Reach out.
