Prior to joining Petra Risk Solutions in 2013, Matt worked 22 years in the luxury hospitality industry. As a member of senior management, he held top positions within safety and loss prevention for some of the world’s finest lodging organizations including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and the Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows. Leveraging his background in risk management and loss prevention leadership, Matt assists hotel owners and hospitality executives with issues such as regulatory compliance, industry best practices, building and fire safety and construction risk management. Matt is a Certified Fire Inspector-I (CFI-I) through the International Code Council as well as a Certified Lodging Security Director (CLSD) awarded by the American Hotel Lodging Association. Matt is currently the Senior Loss Control Manager in P3, Petra’s industry-leading risk management division. Within this role, he provides loss control and safety services for approximately 3400 hotels, resorts and spas nationwide.
